Why Mention Model Painting?

Within the art department, there are many aspects that go into creating a film or television project. One of these aspect that I consider most notable is painting, specifically detail painting. This can range from bespoke props, set painting, to the creation and decoration of smaller scale model sets for animation purposes (e.g creating background that are easier to manipulate than a full-scale version). 

With that in mind, honing the skill of painting in detail is naturally important to me, and indulging in hobby-work while training my precision painting makes keeping my skills up to scratch both accessible and enjoyable. Therefore, below is a gallery showcasing a range of models I have painted (or scratch built, in some cases) from hobby franchises such as Dungeons & Dragons, Trench Crusade, Warhammer 40K and Mobile Suit: Gundam.
